Ratatouille

Charles reminded me that I had never blogged about the ratatouille I made at Christmas it looks beautiful and tastes wonderful the only thing I wish I had was a mandolin to make the slices all uniform.

 
 

Hard Times

I know it is only a week and we can do anything for a week if we put our mind to it right? Here it is 11:30 and I should be in bed 5:30 comes realy early, but I just can't knowing I will be all alone. Charles and I have been apart before, a night here and a night there (ladies or mens retreat at church) and we have been apart 1 other week 17 years ago just thinking about it makes me sad. I know he will be home soon enough and I know he will have a great time visiting family and especially getting to see his BIL Mike for a brief time in passing, but this week is going to be really long.... I miss you honey!

Progress Report

Hi Mashelle-
I had sent a progress report from Math class home with Joe on Friday, to be signed and returned on Monday. Joe returned the progress report, but I am pretty sure the signature isn't really yours. Joe is passing Math with a C, but he needed to get the
progress report signed to show you that he was missing 3 homework assignments from last week. Since I wasn't sure if you had seen it or not, I just wanted to make sure you knew. He should have a homework assignment every night, so if you could check in with him about it, that would be great.

Why do our children think they can ge away with this? Charles and I thought it was very funny mind you he will be punished but this is our 3rd time through you would think he would remember when his bothers went through this.

Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas Tree

Let me start out with the story behind my Christmas tree, I called home from work and asked my wonderful, warped oldest son to put up my Christmas tree he said oh mom I just put up all of Susan's decorations (which there were a lot) I said please it wont take that much to put it up he said ok fine fast forward to the end of day, I come home and find this... upside down tree. He was so proud of himself so I decorated it the way it was. Charles thinks it looks like an Angel or I think Jesus with out streached arms

I had the opportunity to go and hear Mickey Dolenz of the "Monkees sing tonight, it was a wonderful concert we had the Federal Way festival days going on with lots of food, car shows, rides etc. and he came and gave a free open air concert at the Mall I had a great timeand he is a very good musician and singer.
